The Butterfly Garden

in Canada they don’t pronounce Z as "zee"

they pronounce it as "zed" and that is crazy to me

it sounds like they made a typo when they invented it

They do that everywhere in the world that’s not America. We do that here in the UK too.
America is weird man.

Anonymous said: Did you see that snake that's friends with a frog? Apparently they were raised together and now they are buddies c:

Grown in captivity together, the pair display no signs of aggression or fear, comfortable with their encounters high up in the leafy branches.

"I was worried the python may swallow this beautiful frog," said Fahmi Bhs, the 39-year-old photo enthusiast from Jakarta. "But then a keeper told me that this particular snake doesn’t eat frogs at all and it did seem almost undisturbed by its presence. The python occasionally sniffed around the frog but then it just let the creature do whatever he needed to do."

The frog’s behaviour was all the more remarkable as rodents, reptiles and other small living things tend to make up the diet of the green tree python.

This is really cute!!!

Oh holy snuggles <3

I love to see children who are so delicate and gentle with animals.  It warms my heart amidst a sea of brats pulling cats’ tails and getting whacked.

I love how she reaches up on her tippy toes to snuggle into his shoulder.

To be more exact, that’s a hen. Which is the female. This is likely not his first encounter with her. My grandpa had chickens and hens, and if you visit them frequently like this they develop affection to you. I would know, because I sat in the chicken coop alot. The hens get a small maternal kick, and come to cuddle you because she wants to keep you warm, like she would do with her chicks. This means the boy has spent alot of time with her, and that just makes it more heart warming.

Yeah, I’m reblogging my reblog of a snuggly chicken again because snuggly chicken is best chicken.

Chris Pratt worked with Marvel and Children’s Miracle Network Hospital to arrange a special screening of Guardians of the Galaxy for patients, families and staff at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Wednesday. While the movie played, Pratt snuck out and dressed up as his character, Star-Lord. He spent more than three hours in full costume and handed out movie-themed toys. Pratt also visited patients in the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, the Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases, and the Pediatric ICU, as they were too sick to join the movie screening that afternoon.

Pratt spent extra time with one patient, Dylan Prunty, who is a longtime Lego fan and recognized the actor’s voice from The Lego Movie. They spent about 10 minutes reciting different scenes from the film.

Four Monster High Repaints that were finished lately. All of them were commissioned by the same customer, and the Howleens/Clawdeen were specifically painted to look like they were sisters.

I love how they all turned out - especially the wolfy-sisters. Adorable freckles are adorable! <3

Check out my etsy store for all my custom dolls currently for sale, or ask to get your own doll done over like these lovely ladies!
